Dance Photography and Workshops
Welcome to my second book for the performing arts ...encompassing dancers, circus artists, aerialists, gymnasts,
capoeiristas, acrobats, contortionists and the like. This follows on from the very successful book of dance photography www.rowbotham-dance.book.fr
Some of the images in here celebrate the very extensive circus skill base that today thrives in the city of Bristol, others continue with the theme of dance.

...we were playing with contimuous light, continous light and flash and then multiple exposures with either continuous light or flash ... trying to work out what might be most useful in a ridiculously small space ...with fairly mixed results!

next dance photography workshop
My next dance photography workshop will take place on July 7 at a studio in Cheltenham. The dancers are expected to be from A.D. Dance. A London based contemporary ballet company. Holly Noble is the Artistic Director.

excellent news that danza contemporanea de cuba are returning to tour the UK in spring 2012.
a selection of images from my visit to cuba are in the gallery la danza cubana and on tour in the uk
